About Me

My name is Joe Tan Min Hong, and I am a Malaysian-Chinese Art Director with over 28 years of experience in the film industry. I began my career in 1996 as an Art Assistant with Barney Production, later advancing to Art Director in 2000.

Since then, I have worked extensively as a freelancer across Malaysia, Indonesia (Jakarta), Vietnam, and China (Beijing and Shanghai), contributing to numerous films and commercial projects throughout Asia. Notably, I was part of the team behind the feature film The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2007).

I bring a deep understanding of art direction, set design, and prop making, with a proven ability to lead creative teams and deliver exceptional visual storytelling across diverse cultural and production environments
